In aid of the Poppy Appeal I was invited to display part of my collection of objects and photos of the Résistance in the South West of France at an exhibition of War Time Memorabilia held at Eye Town Hall in Suffolk.
Also taking part were dislays of make do and mend, 49Oth BG USAAF based at Eye in 1943 to 1944, arms and ammunition from the First World War, British Resistance Organisation - Churchill's "Secret Army", Land Girls and the role women played in the Second World War.

Photos taken by André Leonard in May 1944 of la Brigade Rac in the woods at Boudeau in the Dordogne and photos from my recent visit to Saint-Saud with the Blackett family retracing their father's steps, an RAF airman looked after by la Brigade Rac
My table was next to the British Resistance Organisation's table who kindly took this photo of me with one of their Sten guns. I had the pleasure of visiting their museum which is adjoined to the 39Oth BG USAAF Memorial Air Museum at Parham near Framlingham in Suffolk earlier in the year and took a few photos.
